Finding the first sword

The mizukages last words were still ringing in his head. The conformation of one of the swords had been good news for the young shinobi. From what he had been briefed on and the details from the injured shinobi, it had been concluded that it was the splash sword. Most of the people had injuries that were consistent with an explosion.

Takachi was travelling as fast as he could to the outskirts of the land of hot water. It took him around three days to reach there and once he did he slept for most of the next day. The village was small and was mostly a rice farming area. There was around 15 houses and a small shopping district. It wouldn't be to hard to find a ninja in this area. He paid the old man at the house he had stayed at the night before. The man gave him a toothless smile and gladly accepted the money.

He slowly walked towards the market area and the small stalls that were there. He looked up at the sky and noticed the dark clouds that were above him and he put the hood up on his cloak. Let the search begin he thought to himself

Kai of The Leaf Village was sent on a mission to retrieve a sword, and was told to get to it first because another villages ninja was sent out.
She finally reached the village and looked around.
" Huh, not that big... I guess this will be easy. " Kai said while walking into an Inn to stay the night.
The next day when she began to walk out, she saw another ninja.
" This must be him. " She thought while keeping her distance and following him.

As the rain began to fall he was having no luck finding the person he was looking for. The people were either too afraid to tell him or they trusted this person. The rain drenched him and his cloak wasn't really helping anymore. There was a few other things that was wrong with this town. The people didn't like to be out when it was raining and it felt as if one of them was following him the whole time.

Whoever was following him was a good deal shorter than him and they were pretty good at hiding their presence from him. A huge explosion happened about 15 feet in front of him. The explosion ripped through the home of a resident. Walking out of the explosion was a man taller than him with a white scarf covering his mouth and neck. He had a loose black vest with black pants. He had long crazy black hair and a scar over his left eye. In his right hand he the sword that Takachi had been looking for. The man lifted the blade at him and looked as if he was waiting for him

Kai witnessed the explosion and started to run. She saw 2 shinobi and the sword.
" Damn, " She thought " I will have to take them down."
Quickly she hid herself behind some of the leftovers from the house.
Kai took out a Kunai and shot it towards the big man holding the Sword.
" Now to attack"

The man easily evaded a ranged attack from the shadows and advanced on his closest opponent. Fighting this particular sword was pretty tough, this was because if you blocked the attack it would explode and damage you heavily. Takachi narrowly avoided each of the attacks and he could feel the heat of the explosions each time. He was slowly leading this person to where he thought the other person was so they would hopefully join forces.

He dodged the sword again but this time he was to close and the blast knocked him back. He rolled and sprung back up. He forced chakra into his legs and he jumped back on to a nearby house. The blow had given him a small burn right under his ribs and it had destroyed his shirt. It was a little more than rags covering his body. He ripped the rest of it off revealing his toned body pointed his sword at his opponent waiting for his next attack

Kai saw this going on and quickly formed 3 hand signs.
" [Magic Cloak of Invisibility Skill] " She whispered, her whole body turned invisible and she made her way towards the opponent holding a kunai, she quickly jumped down and aimed an upward kick to his wrist holding he would let go of the sword, she failed, he had a nice grip on it.
Doing a backflip she landed next to the other ninja and her magic cloak vanished.
"I guess we have to fight him together." Kai said to the ninja.

There was an invisible attack and then the person who had been trailing him finally showed herself. She said what he was thinking and he smirked. "You saw what that sword could do, don't get close to him if you don't have to. With this Takachi forced the chakra into his legs and launched himself forward. He hit his opponents sword knocking him back and another explosion went off pushing them further away from each other

" Okay." Quickly Kai formed some hand signs.
" FIRE STYLE, PHIONEX FLOWER JUTSU!" She yelled while send out shots of fire, which held shuriken inside them.
" Keep your distance, Don't use any close range attacks if you don't have too." Kai said towards the boy while holding a kunai in her hand.

Takachi felt the heat fly by him as it was shot from the younger ninjas mouth. When he started making hand signals the opposing ninja did the same thing. "Water style: Water bullets" the smaller bullets hit the fire and it quickly went out though one of the kunai's did hit it's mark and it cut the opponents shoulder. The man grimaced in pain and this is when Takachi sprung his attack. He threw a few kunai that were easily dodged, he then added his wind chakra to his sword increasing his range with it a little over a foot. When he closed the distance he increased his arm strength and swung with all of his might in a horizontal slash at the opponents injured arm.

He blocked with his sword but he was overpowered again, his sword let off another explosion and he was launched even further and he went into a nearby house. "I really hope this is over." Takachi said to himself

The man wasn't done yet though. He used his sword to prop himself up. He was breathing heavily and had trouble standing but he put his sword in front of him and tried not to wobble to much.

"This sword is mine, and I'm not going to give it up even if I die!" He began to limp towards his opponent but he slipped and fell on his face, he was out cold

Kai watched as everything began to happen.
" Humph better go get the sword." She thought to herself as she saw the man go out cold.
Quickly she began to sprint towards the sword when something crazy happened.
2 Shadows jumped down grabbing the sword and left as fast as they came.
" What just happened? " Kai said while turning towards the other boy.

After the man fell down he began to walk towards the sword until two shadows popped out and took the sword. Takachi was asked what happened but he was just as confused as the other ninja. He shrugged his shoulders and said "Can you sense them at all, I don't know which way they went?"
